Sports, Outdoor Learning & Wellbeing
Sports, Gym & Physical Development
Boxing and kickboxing, gym and fitness training, football, tennis, padel and team games, all adapted to individual abilities and confidence levels.
Building Confidence Through Experience
Movement first. Conversation later.
Sessions are delivered alongside experienced coaches and mentors, and everything is adapted to individual abilities and confidence levels. A young person who has been out of education for a long time is not asked to join a full team on day one. They start where they are.
Physical activity supports emotional regulation, mental wellbeing and engagement in education. For a lot of young people it is the part of the timetable that makes the rest of the timetable possible.

How sessions work
Adapted, not diluted
Boxing and kickboxing build discipline and control. Gym and fitness training gives a young person something measurable that improves week by week. Football, tennis, padel and team games put communication and cooperation into practice without a worksheet in sight.
Because everything is adapted to individual abilities and confidence levels, two young people in the same room can be working towards very different things and both be doing well.
What it develops
The qualities that come with it
None of these are taught directly. All of them are practised every session.
Emotional regulation and resilience
A safe place to use energy, reset, and learn what actually helps when things feel difficult.
Teamwork and communication
Passing, calling for the ball, losing well. Cooperation practised rather than explained.
Leadership and responsibility
Warming up a group, setting out equipment, looking after somebody who is newer than you are.
Healthy lifestyle choices
Sleep, food, movement and recovery, understood in a practical way rather than as a poster on a wall.
What we work towards
Growing stronger every day, in the ways that show on a pitch and the ways that show everywhere else.
Our mission
We create personalised pathways that inspire confidence, develop resilience and prepare young people for successful futures.
How it fits
One strand of a personalised programme
Sport sits within a wider programme alongside English and Mathematics, mentoring and wellbeing support, and the other strands of Sports, Outdoor Learning & Wellbeing. The balance is agreed at the planning meeting and reviewed as things change.
Every programme is underpinned by literacy, numeracy, communication, emotional wellbeing and preparation for the future.

Tell us who you are trying to help
A short conversation is usually enough to work out whether this is the right starting point for a young person. Referrals are accepted from Local Authorities, schools and Multi-Academy Trusts, Virtual Schools, and from parents and carers where appropriate.
