Tuition Centre

Stevenage Tuition Centre

A calm, purpose-arranged setting in Stevenage where small group and one to one sessions run through the week. Somewhere a student can come, work, and leave having got something done.

A place to work, in the middle of Stevenage

Some students do their best work at home. Others need to leave the house to get into the right frame of mind, and need a room where working is simply what everybody is doing. That is what the centre is for.

Sessions run one to one and in small groups, tailored to the individual and kept in line with the National Curriculum. Tutors work with students aged 5 to 18, across primary, secondary and post-16 stages.

The centre also gives families somewhere to actually visit. Seeing the room and meeting the person who will be teaching tells you more than any page on a website, so visits are welcome.

Our Stevenage Tuition Center is an Ofsted registered tuition centre and does accept childcare vouchers. Some of our other affiliations and members include:

Session times and the weekly timetable

The centre is open across the week, with most sessions running after school and on Saturday mornings. Session times are arranged around the student's school day and the subjects they need.

The current weekly timetable, including which subjects run on which evenings, is confirmed when you enquire. It changes across the year, so we would rather give you the live version than leave an out of date grid on a web page.

  • Weekday sessions from late afternoon into the evening
  • Saturday morning sessions
  • One to one appointments arranged directly with the centre
  • Current subject timetable confirmed on enquiry

In Their Words

What families and schools tell us

Attributed by role rather than by name, as they were given to us.

For the first time in years, my child actually looks forward to learning. The team took the time to understand them, and the difference in their confidence has been incredible.

Parent

YoungEducation has provided a personalised programme that has re-engaged our student in education. Communication has been excellent throughout, and the progress made has exceeded our expectations.

School SENCO

I didn't think I'd enjoy education again, but everyone believed in me before I believed in myself. I've made friends, achieved qualifications and found something I'm really good at.

Young Person
