YoungEducation has supported young people in Stevenage and across Hertfordshire since 2010. Our tutors teach one to one and in small groups at our centre, in family homes and online, across both our Alternative Provision and private tuition work.

Who this suits
What we look for
Every young person we work with is different, so the tutors who do well here are the ones who adapt. Some of our students have been out of education for a while and are rebuilding confidence before they rebuild attainment.
- Subject knowledge you can convey clearly at the student's level
- Experience teaching or tutoring young people aged 5 to 18
- Patience, encouragement and a young person first approach
- Willingness to complete our safeguarding and child protection training
- Reliability with scheduling, and clear feedback for families
