Creating Opportunities Through Creativity

Creative Work Is Real Work

Creative learning sits inside each personalised programme rather than alongside it. For some young people it is the first part of the week they look forward to, and the point at which the rest of the timetable starts to become possible.

Whether the medium is an instrument, a pair of needles or a length of timber, the demands are much the same: attention, patience, a plan, and the willingness to try the difficult part again. Young people work at their own pace, and finished work is recorded and celebrated.

What creative learning develops

  • Mindfulness and calm focus
  • Fine motor skills
  • Patience and concentration
  • Emotional regulation
  • Pride in a finished piece of work

Three ways in

Explore Creative Learning

Each strand can stand on its own or run alongside the others, depending on what a young person responds to.

Our Promise

Every young person deserves someone who believes in them.

How Success Is Measured

Success is measured by far more than examination results alone.

For schools and Local Authorities

How Creative Learning Fits the Wider Programme

Inside the Timetable

Creative sessions are built into the personalised programme rather than bolted onto it, and are reviewed as part of it.

Underpinned by the Basics

Every programme is underpinned by literacy, numeracy, communication, emotional wellbeing and preparation for the future.

Reviewed as Things Change

Programmes carry clear objectives and regular reviews, so they keep meeting the young person's needs as those needs evolve.

Shared With the People Who Need to Know

Schools, Local Authorities and families receive clear updates, progress reports and ongoing opportunities to review.

Together, Let's Empower Young Minds
